Professional Garden Swing Chair
Refurbishment by Garden Metal Rescue

If your favorite outdoor seating is looking weathered, rusted, or structurally tired, you don’t need to throw it away. Replacing high-quality metal garden furniture can be incredibly expensive, but professional restoration offers a sustainable, cost-effective alternative. Garden Metal Rescue, a specialized division of Maldon Shotblasting and Powder Coating Ltd, excels in complete garden furniture rejuvenation. Operating from their fully equipped workshop in Maldon, Essex, their team specializes in refurbishing metal garden swing chairs, transforming weathered structures into stunning, durable backyard features.

The Shotblasting and Powder Coating Process

Instead of settling for a short-lived DIY paint job that traps moisture underneath, Garden Metal Rescue utilizes commercial-grade restoration techniques to deliver a factory-look finish:

Commercial Shotblasting: The metal framework is blast-cleaned right down to the bare, healthy metal, instantly stripping away decades of stubborn rust, corrosion, and peeling paint.
Anti-Corrosion Primer: A protective zinc-rich powder primer is applied and oven-cured to seal the metal from environmental elements.
Premium Powder Coating: A highly durable, weather-resistant powder topcoat is baked onto the surface, creating a flawless finish that resists future chipping, fading, and peeling.

Why Choose Maldon Shotblasting for Your Garden Furniture?

With over 30 years of experience, this family-run business doesn’t cut corners on preparation. The majority of their metal garden furniture restoration work is backed by a 5-year anti-corrosion guarantee against paint lift, providing peace of mind that a standard coat of wet paint simply cannot match. Whether you have an antique iron swing seat or a contemporary steel patio set, their process restores both the beauty and the structural lifespan of your furniture. For anyone looking to revive a cherished, sentimental garden swing chair in Essex and the surrounding areas, this specialized service brings pieces back to life with a professional, long-lasting finish.
