We restore a number of Garden Benches, shotblasting and powder coating the cast metal ends and renewing the wooden slats.
Shown below, is one of two, newly slatted oak garden bench which has had the cast iron ends restored to a new factory look finish using a gloss black powder coat.
An exterior wood stain brushed in for extra protection from the outdoor elements.
The second bench complete and stained using boiled linseed oil.
The effect is quite stunning as it changes the wood colour.
Both garden bench ends are Victorian and have been blast cleaned then zinc prime powder coated, followed by a top coat.
The Wood has been re-cut and fitted from Sapele.

Powder coating offers very long life in all weather conditions. We also carry out repair work. A wide range of finishes can be achieved using high-quality powder coat materials. Anti-corrosive self-healing Primer coats are applied for extra that provides an extra layer of protection against corrosion.
Recycle, don’t buy new – restored garden bench
Another repair job, fabricating new box section, now good as new. We take on work that others prefer not to. Recycle rather than buy new.
